Hi! I'm in love with this site! The road-following feature is by far the best feature.
I own a Garmin Edge 205. I have downloaded and installed Garmin Communicator for Mac OS X on my Macbook. However, when I try to upload a route from my GPS from the Map New Ride screen, the dialog box tells me my browser is not supported. I've tried both Safari and Firefox.
Thanks for the kind words about the site. Our Garmin web upload feature was created before Garmin supported Mas OS X with their pluggin. However, there's good news! A new version of the Garmin communicator supports Mac OS X, and we're working to support this as we speak. A site update will be released later this month that supports this, so stay tuned.
Cough... Just checking if this is still on the radar.
I've got a powerbook, edge 305 and not only is the plugin not working, but for some reason I can't import the gpx file I've exported from ascent. :(
I'd love to upload my ride, and share it with my friends, but no can do batman!
Just wanted to add another "me too"!! I had been using this site with my Forerunner for months and I have recently switched over to a Mac and now I can't do it anymore *pout* I really like tracking all my stuff on this site and it was SO awesomely easy to just plug my watch in and bang my route was on the site. Now that the communicator plugin is working I hope they can get it integrated soon! Let me see the code! I'll get it working. ;)
Still love the site but am super antsy to be able to do this again without having to find a windows box.
Any help would be great!!! The Garmin Training Center has a really horrible map function. I'd like to make this work, unfortunately I thought it did work and just purchased a Forerunner 205.
Any advice for creating/exporting gpx files from the device currently I seem to only be able to export *.tcx files from the Garmin software.
