I sure did! Thanks for remembering...

Honestly, I beat my goals, did well, placed OK, and plan to do it again! In my age group I placed #23/36, in the beginner group #25/65, and overall #297/657.

    Swim - 600yrds - 7:46 (placed 6th in AG)

    Bike - 16.5mi - 54:40 (placed 19th in AG)

    Run - 3.1mi - 30:31 (placed 29th in AG)

Basically it tell me I need to REALLY GET SOME SPEED on the run. I just need to get out there and do it!

It was a fun weekend, a great day of racing, and it couldn't have gone much better! Matter of fact, I have another one in 2wks! :)

Yeah You!!! You inspire me. My first tri is the end of July. I am nervous about the ocean entry. Was there a bunch of pushing and shoving? You must be soooo proud of yourself.

Patty, I'm ok w/ the results. They were great, right up until the run. I lost it on the run and just didn't have it. I need the speed there to be competitive, but it was fun. It was loads of fun!

The problem with our water start was that it was a wade start, and it was so shallow, many people were able to jog/wade the whole thing. Because of that, it wasn't that bad. Plus we went in 3min incriments on the swims to help with congestion. I'm 5'7" and I could touch the whole time. I swam what I could until my hands started digging up dirt. Oh well.

I've got to work onthe run now. Maybe next year, I'll be a little better! :)

You'll haul butt on the bike! One of the easiest areas to make up time!

Good thing because I'll absolutely drag in the run! Thanks for the vote of confidence.
