I did 5 miles yesterday even though I didn't want to after doing 7 on Sunday. So today I tried something new: intervals. Man, that is some ho shit. I was sprinting between mailboxes in my hood down here for a couple of miles. It was a very harsh reminder of how slow I am. I may be slow but at least I'm short. Oh well, I'm all heart...except when I'm tired. Then I'm a bitch.   Run for it run for it run....

i added a post, but it never showed up.  i did a 6 mile hike today with the dogs.  my time wasn't great, but it was a good hike all around the farm, through the creek beds, up hills, through brush, around the pastures.  the dogs had fun and it was great being out in the sunshine.  i worked up a good sweat from the sweats and bundling up.   i'm going to try for speed tomorrow...i think.  depends on the rain we are supposed to get.
