Here is a cure for &quot;shin splints&quot;. While sitting in a chair, take a bath towel and lay it flat on a bare floor in front of you, so it's at it's longest length. &quot;Scrunch&quot; the towel up with your toes pulling it towards you until you have gone the length of the towel. Now, &quot;reverse scrunch&quot; the towel pushing it out away from you. Do this exercise at least once a day for a couple of weeks and you'll notice a huge difference! My H.S. track Coach gave me this cure 25 years ago and it works every time!

			<![CDATA[It's a great exercise to avoid both shin splints and plantar fascitis BUT don't do them if you are suffering from either ailment right now.  You will only aggravate what you already have and make it worse.  Wait until the pain goes away and then gradually introduce this exercise to prevent a return.]]>
