    Some of you have heard me mention Fat Cyclist before, others, maybe not.

    It's a blog written by Eldon Nelson. He and his family have been fighting the battle with cancer quite a bit, and he's spearheading a HUGE effort to help support Lance Armstrong and the LIVESTRONG foundation.

    He informed the public last night that his wife, lost her fight. She had been fighting with metasticized breast cancer, and it finally took all she had :(

    For those that haven't been following, I just thought I'd inform you...

    Ya, I heard about this from Armstrong's Twitter. It just plain sucks. I am usually more eloquent, but that's it. I lost my husband to cancer when he was 29 years old; this September will be 10 years. I remember sitting next to my husband in the hospital watching interviews with Lance Armstrong on TV and hoping we would have a similar story. Didn't work out that way. That is why I race for charities and I am a huge supporter of the LIvestrong Foundation. While we're out training this weekend, let's all remember how fortunate we are to have our health.
