    Hi all,

     My gf just moved to LA (has been using your site to map her commute!) and had her bike stolen from UCLA today after her first day of work. *Please* keep an eye out for it, it was well-loved and had just been outfitted for daily commuting. It's a red Javelin 39.5 cm frame, 650 c wheels. (picture at: http://www.javbike.com/Taurasi.html) My bets are that it doesn't fit the thief, and it will be in a used bike shop soon!     Have you posted to LA craigslist also?  It probably gets more visibility and some bike shops are keen enough to check out suspicious bikes on google.  It's worked before.

    Check ebay too.  you might find someone selling it.  Sorry this happened, my old bike and my sons brand new bike were stollen right out of my garage last year.  Really ticked me off.  However, it lead me to my new bike which I love so very much.
