OK, this is a strange one. I'm trying to find other users close to my location. So I click the >>Find User link at the very top of this page. On the next page I type anaheim hills into the Location box and click FIND USER>>

Next I get a long list of users living in Anaheim Hills. Within every listed user I can click the profile image or his/her username to see that user's profile.

However, whatever username I click it goes to my profile. For example, I see cornernugget's profile and click on it. Instead of going to cornernugget's profile it directs me to my profile.

Maybe I do something wrong. It's just weird.

I also noticed that I experience the same thing when I search for runs. Whatever I search for only my runs are looked at.

For example if I search for runs in San Diego, CA no results are shown because I personally have no run saved from San Diego. However, I am sure there must be a ton of runs around San Diego on this website.

Alright, I guess I figured out what the problem is.

When I logged in this morning I set my login to be remembered. At lunch I closed my browser and afterwards came back and went to mapmyrun.com. Without typing my email and password I was logged in; exactly what I wanted.

However, since then I had all the problems seen above.

Now, just to test, I logged myself out. Then I logged myself in typing my email address and password. After I've done that I was able to click on users and see their profiles. And when I search for races they actually show all up.

It seems that this issue might be a logical error within the site. Mabye somebody could look into this.

I'm using Windows XP and Microsoft Explorer 7.

I think this may be the same problem I mention in the "No results when searching for runs" thread from 3 dyas ago. No responses there either...as of yet.

I'm seeing this same issue, too. I am admin of a group, and when I click on individual UserIDs it actually brings up my profile.

We are looking into this -- if you clear your cache, can you see the other profiles?

    kevin@mmf:

What do people see when they see the following profiles:

    http://www.mapmyrun.com/user_profile?u=kevin@mmf

    http://www.mapmyrun.com/user/united-states/ca/san-diego/kevin@mmf

    http://www.mapmyrun.com/user/united-states/ca/san-diego/kevin@mmf?test

I cleared the cache and all the other unnecessary internet files and when I clicked on each of the three links provided above,  I got the same thing as the other members mentioned.  It just goes to my own profile.

Finally I was able to figure it with the help of Damon from NZ! Thank you!

Turned out if you had 'Remember Me' checked then the system was hiccuping.  It should be all set now...

Sorry to everyone who was affected by this!

    Cheers - Kevin
