isn't this going to be a great year?!  so to run 800 miles this year, it averages to 15.34 miles per week.  i thought this would be a great site to keep track of our mileage and to encourage one another.  also, we can post any info we have about upcoming races or events.  let's get ready to run!

The last post was not since Dec 16. Now that it is actually 2008...and in February. How is everyone doing with their 2008 mileage. I admit it took me a while to get running again but I'm going again and I'm at 48 miles.

Brooke, was your 1/2 marathon this last week?  How'd it go?  Hi to the rest of y'all in this group.  I'm running out here in Bloomington, IN where we had an earthquake today, pretty cool eh.  April was a nice month in Indiana so the long runs are getting to be really fun.  I'm at 264 miles now for the year--right on pace for 800.  I'll start updating my calendar here soon and add a few routes because I know you're all dying to take a vacation to visit the midwest and need some good places to run. Cheers, Tyler (Brooke's little brother)

    Hello everyone,

I know it is late in the year to join this group and none of you know me but believe me, I am not cool at all. I do however share your goals of running at least 800 miles in 2008 and getting in shape. I think I am doing pretty well, but I'm interested to see what some of my fellow Utahns are up to.

I hope it is ok that I joined your group. If not just say the word and I'm gone. anyway, Good luck to all and try to keep up with the hard work as Turkey day comes.
