Where is Indiana Cycling and Fitness? What should I wear for the rides? How long are the rides? I haven't biked in quite a while...will I bring the group down? How many girls usually participate in the biking excursions?

Glad to hear about the interest!! Indiana Cycling and Fitness is on S. 5th Street just off Philadelphia St. in town. Wear what you are comfortable wearing on a longer ride. Now it has been chilly; temps. change so much here. I tend to overdress and regret it after warming up during the ride. Any cycling clothing is the best although not a must. Sport-specific clothing will reduce the amount of layers you will need to put on. Gloves and a balaclava are nice as well as a light weight jacket. Rides do not leave if it is raining. However, a ride may begin before it starts to rain.

Wednesdays are a mix of riders. Thursdays are usually faster. If you are interested in cycling with the Indiana Cycling Club's women, their rides will begin on April 5th @ 9 AM in the S & T Bank parking lot. They have riders of all levels and are a very social group as well.

Sorry I can't speak from experience about the rides. They just started over Spring Break so I have not gotten to go on them yet. But with the numbers there I should think you would be able to follow in a group. No one gets left behind.
