I'd like to find someone who rides at least a couple of times per month in the Glendora,CA area. Road Bike and or MB Trails. Light/Moderate rides at first. Progressing to more challenging fairly quickly. Preferably early morning rides.
I'm in Glendora - but early mornings are out for me during the week.... I just finished college and I'm traveling a bit this summer. Once the fall rolls around we should connect to do some riding on the weekends at least. I only own a road bike and light/moderate rides are great for me. Check out the only route I have posted. I just did it the other day - it is a great ride to start with.
Whenever. I can go at varied times. I travel for work, but when I'm home I'm trying to get back into it. I tried the "Midweek Morning Hill Work" route last week and the hill on Via Verda crushed my legs... WOW am I out of it. I'm trying your route tnt. 5-25-08, though I think I'm going to cut back at the Royal Oaks to put me at about 15mi again, since it's only my 3rd ride after 8 mo. off.
I'll check these posts often incase you or anyone wants to do a ride anytime soon.
Road bike routes- light to somewhat moderate. 8 months ago I was doing 3 rides per week at 25-40 mi each. The Canyon at Irvine lake (S18) was my favorite ride, along with the river trail from Green River and the 91 toward the beach and back.
I really just got into this last summer while training for a triathlon with TNT. I loved the road bike training, but I also love to ride my dirtbike so I figured Mnt Bikes will give me the best of both worlds. Any ride partners, advice or whatever would be greatly appreciated.
Mountain bike routes- BEGINNER to light. I've never really done Mnt.Bike riding. So my endurance and strength are terrible right now. I want to get to where I can ride some challenging trails... you know, the kind of rides most people would say "you did what!!!" But that will come with time and miles on the trails (OR OFF THR TRAILS).
I'm in San Dimas and I'd love to go for a ride any time. I do most of my riding in the morning but I have no problem riding in the afternoon or even in the evening. The only thing is I don't have the type of bike for mnt trails so unfortunately I have to stick to the road. If you still wanna ride email me the time and place to meet. Subj. Bike ride
