I've checked the help section and read through reviews, but I don't seem to find any information on this issue. I've created several cycling route maps, but they all start at my house. Now, I'd like to make some of them public... but with more generic start and end points.

When I try to edit a start point in a map I've already created, I can drag the start point icon to a new place and it sits there, but the route doesn't change at all. Even though the market is in a new place, the little blue route line still starts at the original point. Is there any way to move the start point (and end point) so that my routes start/end in a new location?

I'd like to do the same thing.  Looks like if you want to change the start/end points you have to redo the entire map.

This is still a problem, you can't add to the beginning of a route. Being able to add to the beginning is rather important, allowing you to have long complicated paths that can have their start altered dramatically while retaining the rest of the existing information. Re-making the map is often not a simple task and therefore not an acceptable option. This needs to be fixed.

I just attempted to duplicate the issues presented here and I cannot duplicate any problems that have been explained.  When I go to a previously created roue and drag the start point marker to a new location, the route indeed gets updated with the new links.  Additionally, to make the route more exact, I can drag the start location to the new desired location and drag the mid-points between the old starting location and the new one to make sure the route is in the correct place.

Can you all confirm that clearing you browser cache and checking any firewall settings doesn't fix the problem?

Ok I just tried this.  I can see where you can move the start point somewhat, but not really what I want to do.  I found a ride that passes right by my starting location, so I want to change the start point and have all the mile markers change accordingly.  Picture a 20 mile loop.  I want to start at mile 10 but do the whole loop. If I change the marker at mile 10 to a Start point, mile 11 should become mile 1 and so on.

The last week or so I can't get "edit" to work AT ALL -- anybody else having a problem with that? I had been successfully using the edit-existing-ride function, a LOT, up until about a week ago. Has there been an upgrade or something? thanks

to change the points on the map U have to select the map U want to change select edit once the map comes up, take the mouse and hover over the trail line. The solid line should change to a line with spaced out boxes on the line. Left click and hold the box where U want to change the route. Make sure U save the map.
