I rolled over 1900 miles this weekend.

Also this weekend I created a new route map, which took me hours (while watching the Olympics) and four attempts.  The things I learned about making long routes:

    • Don't use markers.  Markers are evil and screw up routes.
    • Save often.
    • Close your browser occasionally.  MMR plus Firefox plus long routes equals a lot of memory.  Closing the browser gives it all back.
    • Sessions STILL log you out after a little more than one hour.
    • Auto route works (if you are careful), and Undo works (mostly).
The biggest problem is when you create a route of a precise distance, after you save the route, the total distance changes.  My route should be 1904 miles, but when you view it, it says 1911 miles.  That sucks.  Are you guys seeing that too?

    STEVE, YOU'RE GOING TOO FAST!

I'm still in FL. Granted I'm running to Orlando before I start heading north back up the east coast. It's just taking me a while!

Congrats on the mileage. That's great news!

    Anyone heard from Floridan lately?

See you guys wouldn't have a problem if you were slower like me Wink

Haven't heard from Floridan but probably got busy and will be back.  I know lately I haven't been able to keep up as much as I like but still tracking on my map.  Should hit New Hampshire by this weekend.

FYI - didn't buy that bike.  Still looking but got busy lately so my search has slowed.
