Runner's Forum: Message for Jen from Oshawa

Hey Jen!  Have you heard about the 5k that's coming up Oct. 5, on the Oshawa lakefront?  It's being hosted by the Breast Cancer Foundation.  I would like to run it, but I think it would be more fun to run with someone.  Would you want to run with me?  I'm new to the area so I don't know many people, especially those who are runners!  It is 40 bucks to run it.  Isn't that a little much??  I guess it is going to a good cause.  This would be my first 5k run, I would really like to see what it's like to run a race!  Let me know!

 Sorry, I have been really lazy!

I am going to be away on October 5th so I can't do that run with you, but I would like to start running with you. I haven't ran in about 4 weeks, and REALLY need to get back into it. I felt like I needed a break after my last triathlon, but I think a 4 week break is a little excessive:)
