Hi.  I made a mistake in entering a run in my training log.  I can't seem to be able to delete a route or an entry.  Any suggestions?

By the way, I am enjoying this site.  It's fun and it saves gallons of gas (used to trace running routes by driving the route after I ran it.

Related question:  I like to run in a local park.  Is there anyway to map routes and elevations if you are running on trails?

    Thank you,

    Chris

You can delete the workout by clicking on it to view/edit and click the delete button.

To delete a route, go to 'My Runs' and then click the 'edit' link next to the route name -- you can delete a route from here...

If you can view the trails in a satellite view, you should be able to map your route.  Also, if there is a topo-map for your region, sometimes the topo maps show trails as well...

    Cheers,

I'm using the site for hte first time and I thought I'd be able to create a cue sheet with cumalative and interval milage before turns.  Is there a way to do that or do I need to just keep and eye on the distance in the lower right...?

You can add notes to the routes, thus allowing turn by turn instructions. If you have follow roads turned on these are auto generated.

Is there any way to search for a specific place mid route? All I can seem to do is search for a start point! Also what is the reason for the "distance between the two points is too large" warning, what is wrong with two points slightly further than normal.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

I really love this site. Now I don't have to get in the car a drive where I've just walked. Training log motivates me to get out and get moving.

Hi I made an error in my training log...I changed an existing route & saved it as a new route thinking it would only change that days entry but it changed all the previous entries of that route & now I can't find a way to get these back again...help :-(

Fab site by the way...really good at motivating me to add all my exercising routines & of course helps me find time to do my running...if it's written down you can't possibly  not do it :-)

I was ready to switch from using bikely.com to your site (I love your out and back feature), but I haven't been able to successfully share a map to my blog using your embed code.   Any hints beyond shutting the convert line breaks off?  I am able to share bikely.com maps with no problem at all.

    Hi DB-

Here's some alternative code that should work in a single line:

    <iframe src="http://js.mapmyfitness.com/embed/blogview.html?r=6b190440a0bd00eaa93c6b7859744df2&t=run" height="675px" width="100%" frameborder="0"><a href="http://mapmyrun.com/view_route?r=$6b190440a0bd00eaa93c6b7859744df2</iframe>

Note that mmf_route should be the same value that we give you on the blog page.

This is the code that gets inserted "under the hood" of our blog insert Javascript, and if you're familiar with

Due to other users having similar issues, we'll be adding these instructions to the site soon.

    Jeff,

Why does return to last point always bring me back to Greenland?
