Any recommendations for good tools to massage sore legs after a ride?  (other than a masseuse!)  I've seen ads for The Stick -- anyone have experience with that?  I've seen a ton of different kinds in Body Shop etc. and could try some of them myself, but I figured I'd ask if anyone has a great recommendation -- thanks!

We just finished a bicycle ride around Lake Superior and one of the gals on the trip used an ointment called Arnika each night she bought from a Vitamin store in a Mall. I bought some then too but it turned out mine had menthol in it also and was smelly. She had pure Arnika I guess cause hers did not smell. It worked great for rubbing on sore muscles, but do not get it in open cuts or sores she said.

For actual massage, I use my mother's rolling pin.  Just don't bear down on bony shins.  It works very well.

BTW, I also have my grandmother's rolling pin for food.

The Stick is amazing.  Period.  It was the best $26.99 I've ever spent in my life.
