Hi all, I wondered if someone could help me out, I am looking for a HRM so I know how I am performing over my ride. I would like one that I would be able to log my stats and download them to the PC for analysis. My limit is around £100. I will be doing between 2 and 5 hours a week at present, possibly more to get myself back into the shape I was two years ago (I am only 22!). Two I have looked at already are Polar F6M and Suunto T3C. I like the Suunto because I can add further PODs to it. Any advice or opinions are welcome.

I don't think you'll get a decent logging HRM for that price. I am fairly sure the F6M only records averages and maximums, not a continuous log of your performance. I use a Polar CS200CAD on one of my bikes and I love it. It stores data for 7 exercise sessions and can be linked to the PC.

The Garmin Forerunner 50 will do what you are looking for.  It is a HRM with the option for a cadence sensor or foot pod.  You have to download the workout data to the computer in order to see all of the details though.

I would go with a Garmin! I have owned every Polar model known to man and also have three Garmin models. Garmin is hands down a better bang for your buck!

Mandajae, what are you doing to your heart rate monitors to go through them so fast?! :)
