Take the ride of your life with the Jax Tour de Cure in 2009!

Did you know that 23.6 million Americans have diabetes, 25% do not know it yet, and another 57 million have pre-diabetes?! Diabetes has reached pandemic proportions and the Centers for Disease Control tell us that 1 of 3 children born after the year 2000 WILL develop diabetes in his/her lifetime if we do not change current trends! 

As the mom of a 3-year old girl, with diabetes in our family, I want to eradicate this disease before she ever learns the word!  -- Kimberly Lewis, Director - American Diabetes Association and Tour de Cure Jax Director since 2005!
