Soldier Ride 2009 Babylon To BeachesLindenhurst, New York (07/24/2009)Brief DescriptionThe 1st Precinct Brotherhood Club and the Town of Babylon have teamed up together to support our veterans by sponsoring Babylon to Beaches soldier ride. The soldier ride is a rehabilitative bicycling program for severely injured servicemen and women, giving them the opportunity to reinvigorate their bodies and showing them how much life still has to offer. Wounded Warrior Project© cyclists will be riding through the town to raise awareness for the needs of combat wounded veterans. Be The Event.....Join The Ride !
On July 24, 2009, Wounded Warrior Project Cyclists welcome everyone interested regardless of skill or experience in joining them on this ride. All participants will be cycling from Babylon Town Hall....passing through communities lined with residents that will be showing their support by cheering on our wounded warriors and supporters as they head east to cross over the Great South Bay then cruise along Ocean Parkway to finish at the beach on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean where a beach party awaits the riders, be the event....join the ride !
