There is construction on Howland - no shoulder - and Newmark is closed as is the Lake Helen road entrance - you have to go to Elkam. For some unknown reason, the county chose to pave half of the shoulder on Lake Helen road, creating a 2 inch lip in the middle of the shoulder - better to ride on the road. Blue Lake Rd is great and 17-92 has a bike lane from Orange City to Sanford. It's fun to stop for a swim at Blue Springs (when it's hot).
