description: Nice steady out of town starts a couple of climbs at 15 miles then a speedy downhill to Woodstock. Route 4 a little busy, but 100A nice cut off of 4 and a screeming downhill with a quick stop at mile 45-46. Then rolling fast down 100 to Ludlow. Quick 300 vertical to Okemo base lodge and done.
One of my favorite rides

description: This climb is uphill for the first 4 miles, with a .3 mile section of 12%, then a quick false flat, followed by a continuous uphill of around 6%. Then it's downhill real fast, then up again into Mt Holly and down the other side. You can either goto the 103/155 intersection and head back into Ludlow, or turn off early and head into Belmont and stop at the country store.

description: The route can be done in either direction, but counter clockwise is the most common direction. The ride starts and finishes from the parking lot of Mountain Cycology in Ludlow. The climb up and over the Reading Alps is a gental uphill for miles, then kicks up for a half mile after you pass South Reading. Then it's uphill again for a bit. Once you are on top, you'll know it as you'll be in a large open area with great views. At this point it's time to zip up the jersey and decend.
