Friday, May 29, 2009 -- Stage 19 To win the La Spinta a Roma King of the Mountains Competition, you will simply need to climb more vertical feet than anyone else in a single ride on Friday, May 29th. After your ride, return to the Giro Challenge and submit your ride data in order to be entered into the competition. Rides must be submitted on May 29th, 2009, by 12 p.m. Pacific time. All rides must have been ridden that day. |
Saturday, May 30, 2009 -- Stage 20
How do you win this Competition? It's easy! Grab up to 3 other team members and sign up as a team for the Team Distance Challenge. Please ensure all of your fellow team members sign up individually for the Giro Team Distance Challenge. La Spinta a Roma's Team Distance Competition winner will be the team that covers the greatest total distance (sum of all riders on the team) on Saturday, May 30th. After your ride, return to the Giro Challenge and submit your ride data in order to be entered into the competition. Rides must be submitted on May 30th, 2009, by 12 p.m. Pacific time. All rides must have been ridden that day. |
Sunday May 31, 2009 -- Stage 21 Think you can uncork a blazing Time Trial just like the pros? Prove it on May 31, 2009. Pull up MapMyRide.com, plot out a 14.5km TT course, throw on the aero-bars and go out there and hammer out that course just like the pros in Roma. Your ride data will be converted into a virtual time just like in our Cycling Pros versus Cycling Joes Challenge. The La Spinta a Roma Individual Time Trial Competition winner will be the participant whose virtual time comes in lower than all other Competition participants. After your ride, return to the Giro Challenge and submit your ride data in order to be entered into the competition. Rides must be submitted on May 31th, 2009, by 12 p.m. Pacific time. All rides must have been ridden that day. |
GIRO CHALLENGE SWEEPSTAKES
To enter the Giro Challenge Sweepstakes all you need to do is sign up for the Giro Challenge, ride your bike, and enter your ride into a challenge. Every time you submit your ride to the Challenge you will get one entry into the Sweepstakes that will be held at the conclusion of the Giro. Each participant can earn one entry per day of the Giro Challenge. The more you ride the more chances you have to win.
To be eligible for competition prizes all ride data needs to be entered via an iMapMyRide.com iPhone application, a MapMyRide.com BlackBerry Application or using a GPS device upload.
