Unlike many Grand Tours, the Final Stage of the 2009 Giro d’Italia may actually determine the Giro Champion.  This year, it will definitely determine the fastest Giro d’Italia Challenge competitor.  On Sunday May 31st we will end the 2009 VERSUS – MapMyRide.com Giro Challenge with a blazing finish as we hold the La Sprinta a Roma Time Trial Competition presented by Profile Design.

Each competitor’s ride data will be converted into a virtual time just like in our Cycling Pros versus Cycling Joes Challenge.  The La Sprinta a Roma Individual Time Trial Competition winner will be the participant who has the lowest virtual time.  Therefore, if you want to win, plan out a short 14.5 km course and ride as hard as you can.
