aldimond I don't know about races because I don't live there anymore! It's the right season for races. There's a fitness center up near the library, if you ask there they'll know about races. As for running routes, there are lots of great ones. If you're looking for a big hill climb, there's a dirt road up Cedar Mountain that's a level 8% grade for miles. For more flat-to-rolling terrain, there various are trails all along the Shoshone River on the north end of town and along the Cody Canal and the reservoirs to the south. My favorites for easy-to-follow out-and-back routes are County Road 2AB-W (north of the river, west of State Road 120) and Skyline Drive (continuation of 11th St. going south out of town).
