Bike Ride Description
The Saturday morning Donut Ride has been going on for decades. The ride officially starts on Coronado at Pats' house with a casual paced warmup down the Strand bike path until reaching 7th st. Regroups at the corner of 7th and Palm by the donut shop.It usually starts at 7:30 from here once it looks like no one else is comning. One group rides up the bike path and the faster group ride the shoulder of the Strand Hwy. The pace usually picks up quickly and stays high after that. Various attacks get reeled in and sometimes stay away. The finish is the white line just after the speed bump across from the plantation style house. Ride a couple blocks to Pat's house afterwards for donuts!
