Bike Ride Description
Excellent road ride from Pine Valley along Sunrise Hwy to Julian and then back to Pine Valley thru Cuyamaca State Park. The loop northwest of Julian is one of the best road rides around. The stretch on Hwy 79 has no shoulder so be careful. Total ride is 62 miles with 6200 feet of elevation gain. Plenty of water stops in Julian, at the Fire station at the start of Engineer Road and at the Cuyamaca Campgrounds.
