Bike Ride Description
Lake Minneola trailhead (in Clearmont) to Kilarney Station at the west end of the West Orange Trail, and back. There are a number of stop signs to cross roads. During peak commute times expect to stop and in places walk across a road. There are a couple places crossing entrances to subdivisions where the bike path dips, gives a jolt transitioning from bike path to crossing the street, then rises steeply for 10-20', in particular at about mile 4 (from west end). Most of the trail is bike path width; a few sections are narrower sidewalk. At about mile 4.5 there is a wooden bridge (rough surface) that can be bypassed by riding on the road for about 200 feet.
