28 mi of Assault on Mt Mitchell. First 6 mi light uphill, 6 mi 8-9% to Pkwy. Next 6 on Pkwy, steady 7-8% to a 2 mi dnhill. Then 3 mi @ 7% to Pk entry. Next 2 mi 9-10% (whew!), 3 mi on summit ridge enjoy to top of highest pt east of Mississippi
