Bike Ride Description
Avoid the island traffic and go off shore. Most of the roads are quiet with the exception of the main arteries RT 47 and RT 147. If your unsure about riding in traffic please stick to the bike paths.

Once off island there are some nice, isolated roads. The main arteries 47 and 147 do get busy, but there's plenty of shoulder to offset that. I did opt for the Cold Spring Bike Path to mix things up. More on my blog: martysbikerides.blogspot.com
