Would recommend doing this ride, and all others connection Hwy 30 and Skylnie in reverse, for safety reasons. Traffic going up Newberry is light, but traffic going up Cornell can be nerve racking. Otherwise, very beautiful and challenging.

route along Hwy 30 is pretty boring, mostly going through industrial district; high traffic, dirty bike lane; Skyline part is very beautiful; reverse and going up Newberry is an option but pretty STEEP
