- Begins in:
- Glossop, United Kingdom
Halifax, United Kingdom
- Tough, nearly 50 mile loop taking in climbs of two of the UK's most feared road climbs, the Sanke Pass and Holme Moss. The A57 from Glossop can get very busy during the rush hours and on summer weekends. Similarly, the brief stretch of the Woodhead Pass (A628), near the end of the ride is narrow and can be very busy. Take care on both these stretches of the route and try to avoid busy times - i.e. weekend mornings, weekday middle of the day and summer eveings are generally OK
