Toronto Trees and Trails
Lots of trees and dirt paths. Most of the streets are low-key, with a few urban stretches. Not recommended for skinny-tire road bikes. Better for hybrids, mtbs, and cyclocross bikes, particularly when muddy. Counterclockwise direction strongly recommended! There are a few tricky bits on this route, so the first go will be a bit of a chore. Tricky bits include: finding way thru Sunnybrook parking lot, carrying bike up long flight of steps in Sherwood Park (are you strong enough?), etc. I promise you, once you get the hang of it, this is a simple and fun route! :) Lots of fresh air, trees, and quiet. You'll hardly know you're in the big city. - a 20 mi cycling route in Toronto, Canada
