Description of this Bike Ride

Starting from the old Clifton Country Mall (whatever it's called these days) - found a surprisingly rural route out. Wanted to go up Cold Spring Road to Saratoga Lake but it was under construction and nothing but dirt. Ran up Route 9 through Malta but then realized what a tailwind I had (not the first time I've been blown to Saratoga) and that I'd better save something for the trip back, having gone hard the day before. I'd meant to go flat, but the elevation chart shows I wasn't successful. I was still suffering so I felt every hill.
