Seat and post stolen while at work

Just last Tuesday I went to work as usual, parked my bike at the bike rack and locked it. Next thing you know, several hours later after closing me and my friend who I also work with get out and then I notice that my bike seat is missing off my bike. I was so pissed off that I even kicked my bike several times. Who'd wanna take a $25.00 bike seat? And why didn't they just also take the rear wheel when they had perfect access to it? It's amazing of how much hell a small theft can put you through. This is not the first time I had something stolen from me, in fact last year the very first bike I bought myself was stolen right out of my garage a month later. Maybe to a car driver having your bike stolen or your seatpost stolen might seem like nonsense and something too small to get frustrated over. But for someone like me who is an avid cyclist whose bicycle is the main mode of transportation having your seat stolen with the post is like breaking into a car and stealing the driver seat. This past week has been a really frustrating one. It's one thing that I got really sick and had to cancel all of my workouts. That was bad enough. But having my bike seat stolen and spending money on a new saddle and then scrambling all over town for a post in my size which caused me to wait a whole d!mn week cuz I had to order one was a real three times MORE pain in the neck. One that slapped my wallet too. Well eventually I did get a new saddle, one that has some kind of a ventilation system thing. It was the only one of its kind that was more close to my Divine Series saddle shape and feel, but cost me a hefty $49.95. I'm still lucky to have my bike on two wheels and gears on and functioning well. I had plans to sell my bike some day to get money to upgrade to a more advanced mountain bike. Now it looks like I probably won't even get much for it.
