Dogs are the greatest running buddies - always keen, don't mind where you take them, and excellent mugging deterrents. As long as he never gets you. i have a dog that makes me run...thats my infatiguable border collie Stanley. He comes out with me and runs in front. I have only just started this week and so I am walking with a few runs due to my 50lb excess weight and previous bad knees. Sometimes Stanley is a help in pulling me up the hill and others he is a hindrance when he mistakes my feet for "sheep" and decideds to bite them or round them up. But at least he is getting me out the door!!
