My 24 year old road bike is in the shop to replace the rear 27" wheel so I am riding my son's street cruiser. Have taken up trail riding to keep involved with the challenge.  It was my father's bike to try to get in a little exercise a few years ago so it's major attributes are wide knobby tires and a low gear.  This has been an interesting introduction to single track riding and I can sure see both the attraction of trail riding and the benefits of a more modern bike with shocks other than my legs. - Marty
