This was one of the best Challenges I had ever been a part of ever since I have been watching the Tour de France. You guys at the Road ID Le Tour Challenge have become that little voice over my right shoulder that tells me to just go out and ride. At times I found myself a little sore and a bit down on motivation. It was not until I went to see my stats on your website that I found the strength and courage to want to improve my stats. I have definitely ventured off and seen more of my city—Oceanside, California--than I ever thought I would see on my bike. I try to stay off from my normal routine bike trail/loop and ride inwards towards the hills of Oceanside California.

I can see and feel the change in my body since I started to participate in the Challenge. I feel more and more motivated everyday to take on bigger climbs. By no means can I keep up with the stats of a professional bike rider but what I can do is seek self improvement and become a better rider and have more fun at doing it. I have seen major improvements in climbing hills and I no longer fear them. My attitude towards hills has definitely changed for the better. It keeps me wanting bigger hills. The pain in my legs makes me feel so alive!

I want to thank you all for the outstanding job you guys are doing. I also want to pass on two thumbs up for everyone who has participated and got out to ride their bike. Remember: in the end, it’s we who benefit by living a healthier life.
