I enjoy this ride, but there are a few problem areas.

1. Park at the hotel/Waffle House.
2. The Garcon point bridge at one time charged a dollar toll for bikes to cross. They stopped charging, but I always bring two dollars (one for each way) just in case.
3. Gulf Breeze parkway is usually pretty heavy traffic. There is a bike lane on the right which I recommend using for a couple miles until reaching the bike path on the south side of the road. If traffic is very heavy there is a bike route through the residential area just to the south of the highway. Watch for the bike route signs and follow them carefully! It's pretty easy to get lost in the residential area.
4. After crossing the P-cola beach bridge I find the road to the right along the beach is easiest. None of the roads along the beach have bike lanes, and since P-cola beach is just a sand bar anyway the road sometimes has drifting sand piles across it.
5. Being a beach, there are plenty of refueling stations.
