- A nice ride from park to park (loop). It is mixed road, but most of the high traffic sections have marked bike lanes. I do reccomend the Otsiningo Park bike trail as shown rather than riding along front street in that section.
The section over Crocker hill road is extremely steep, plan to walk much of it unless you are in really good shape.
There is a bit of a shortcut through CVSP (turn at Rodgers Road and down River Road) but I would not recommend it if you have a road bike. It has rougher surface, some forest trail, and stone road (rounded, not gravel).
The bridge over the Rt. 79 bridge over the Chenango in Chenango forks is metal grate, I had no problem with it with slicks, but anyone with road tires might want to be careful.
