What a beautiful day! Temps were in the mid - maybe high - 70s, perfect biking weather. This ride started at Whitney Bridge Park along the Green River, followed the river valley back to Auburn, then headed southeast through the farmlands of rural King County. In Enumclaw it was north again towards Cumberland, through some of the prettiest farming areas of King County, then through the wooded hills around Ravensdale. Thence to Black Diamond for an ice cream pit stop at the Black Diamond Bakery, before heading along Green Valley Rd and a steep drop off the bluff and back to the starting point. The portion of the route that goes along SR-164 from Auburn is a little uncomfortable due to the traffic
