Decker-Kannan Dune
Scenic; why we love Malibu. Park in dirt coastal lots off PCH between Encinal and Decker. Steep but short climb up Decker. Over Mulholland to Encinal and down. On the way down (or back up Encinal) stop at Charmlee Wilderness Park to refill water and use the rest room at 2577 Encinal Canyon Rd just east of Carmichael rd. Climb back up for a total of 3900 feet of climbing, over Mulholland to Kannan Rd and down. Lunch at Trancas before heading back to parking. - a 40 mi cycling route in Malibu, California
