- Description:
- Start in New Britain and head up to Batterson Park. You will hit afew steep but short hills on your way up. As you travel around the park enjoy the view of the lake and the many shaded areas . Make you way back towards campus and this time head down East Street until you make a left onto Newington Ave. Not even a mile down you will face your biggest climb of the day. It is somewhat steep in the begining but flattens out towards the top. When you have reached the shopping area it means you have a quick break from a hill but soon enough you will have one more short climb. When you finally reach Willard it will flatten out and give you some downhill. Cedar street is rolling but enjoyable and expect that one last short climb back to campus right after Fenn Rd. onto Ella Grasso. Congratulations you have traveled through a bit o Farmington, Newington and New Britain.
