Description:
The out and back ride follows the Ottauquechee River from historic Billings Farm in Woodstock along the scenic River Road to the Taftsville Covered Bridge, then by the beautiful golf courses of the Quechee Club and the Village of Quechee past Simon Pearce and another covered bridge. After passing the Dewey's Mill Pond you will have a short climb to the parking area overlooking the Quechee Gorge. Take a hike down the trail into the Gorge to see Vermont's version of the grand canyon. After an ice cream cone at the Ott Dog, get back in the saddle to ride back to Woodstock. A great trip...
