I am the Jax Tour de Cure Director, and have been with the event since it's introduction to Jacksonville in May 2005! We've seen some amazing growth and know there's lots more to come, so stay tuned! I've been in the corporate world for more than 20 years now and am a jack of all trades, master of none! I love what I do and for me, making a difference in the fight against diabetes is a labor of love. My paternal grandmother had type 2, my Dad has type 2 currently, my Mom has pre-diabetes, I am at risk for type 2 and my little girl, only 3, is already at risk for this deadly disease, just because she was born to me! I want it wiped out, before she ever learns the word!
