I began riding seriously at age six. I have entered 117,000+ miles in my log book: I easly have another 100,000 miles in my legs. Seven times state age group time trail champion. Fastest 40km time: 58:12. Fastest 100 mile time 3 hr 58 min. National master's team in 1992; rode in the Russian (CIS then) national championships. I have begun to slow down :-( shorter rides and slower speeds.
