Began running a couple of years ago for general fitness and weight management. Stopped running for quite some time due to hip injury and restarted in August 2007.
Love outdoor runs but also run on treadmill at the gym for my interval training and long runs when the weather is bad. Also do weights and a bit of cross training, rowing, bike, cross trainer etc.
Want to increase my running times, they are quite low at an 11 min mile but im working on it!
Goals for 2007
Increase running speed
Lose about 1/2 stone
Goals for 2008
Get mile time to 10 min mile
Lose 1-2 stone
5k race, 1st quarter of year
10k race, 2-3rd quarter
1/2 marathon, last quarter
Goals for end 2009
Full Marathon maybe!!! Who knows!

I like the way you set your goals, something I am not able of.
If you sometimes lack motivation, especially in winter, or if you need advise on how to improve your pace, try and see a club. It worked for me as I joined the Birchfield Harriers last year and went there for over a month before actually joining.
