15mi Niagara River Recreation Trail Route
A 15 mile there-and-back route along the Niagara River, starting just south of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The route follows the multi-purpose Niagara River Recreation Walkway, which means there are numerous other bikers and walkers to dodge. Five miles into the route at Queenston, the route climbs up the Niagara Escarpment -- a 300ft. climb. The grade is estimated between 5-7% at times.
