Neal Smith Trail
This route mostly follows the Neal Smith Trail. A portion of the trail is closed and I detoured on a road which was busy and not very safe. The rest of the trail is in pretty good shape, but aged. Most of the trail was marked with survey markings. My guess is that there is some major work planned for this trail in the future. Plenty of spots for water fill and bathrooms in the camp ground throughout the State Park. - a 51.4 mi cycling route in Des Moines, Iowa
