Palm Coast Linear Trail / Lehigh Trail
This route is the wrong way to do the Palm Coast bike paths. The bike path along Colbert Lane is just a sidewalk labeled as a bike path. There is no shade, and not much to see along the way. The LeHigh Trail is secluded, and shady. We saw some birds and a turtle. Belle Terre Parkway has a wide sidewalk along this busy street. Palm Coast Parkway serves a shopping area, with lots of store parking lots, and shoppers in a hurry to cross the wide sidewalk. Linear Trail is secluded and interesting. The bike trail along the waterway is barren, but the waterway provides an interesting backdrop. Full trailheads with facilities are at Waterfront Park, and at the East end of the LeHigh Trail, on Colbert Lane. - a 17.4 mi cycling route in Palm Coast, Florida
