Greater Peterborough Area Road cyclist Map Route #1 Classic Lakefield-Bridgenorth Route
This a classic tour of the Kawarthas. This route can be done as a quick after-work outing or, better still, when you have some time to stop for coffee and a snack in Lakefield or Bridgenorth. The route is primarily flat and takes in some of the historic locks of the Trent-Severn Waterway as well as some nice views of Chemong lake. Although the route description is all onroad it is possible to ride roadside cyclepaths all the way from Peterborough (east side of the river) to Lakefield.
