Sounds of Silence - Hello Darkness My Old Friend Route15/08/2009
The standard Beach Road run but this time I'm calling it the Simon and Garfunkel Run. Having become so accustomed to music in the ears (to ward off afore knowledge of bogans in V8's bearing down behind), I rode back home to get the phone/ipod thingy. So, it was the Sounds of Silence - funnily enough, I was decked out in Silence-Lotto gear - but the ride ended up with the song "Hello Darkness my Old Friend" as it was well beyond 6 pm by the time I got home. Was going to go back into town for a sleep in the office ahead of a big ride tomorrow, but domestic obligations have changed that. PS.
